>The clearest water anywhere, beautiful perfect sandy beaches. Sandy Island was within dinghy distance of our anchorage and a perfect island in every way. Beach beds, fabulous food, great ambience – everything you could want.

We only spent 2 days here – day 2 cost $56 to visit a couple of the marine parks. Terrible anchorages, no mooring buoys at either Dog Island or Prickly Pear and the least amount of marine life Caroline has ever seen. There was just 1 big fish – it fled from Caroline, but stopped on seeing Helen and bared its teeth. Helen squealed in fear – the funniest moment of the trip. There was no way a 2 foot long fish could eat a whole Helen.
Anguilla is beautiful, with very few tourists but also an empty sea – maybe there's a link.
