Gran Canaria to Tenerife

The island has beautiful national parks with great
walks, gorgeous goats cheese and they are very good at Brazilian food (no- we
don't know why).
The worst aspect of Gran Canaria is the really
dirty pavements with cockroaches everywhere. at one cafe we were served a bowl
of peanuts with a dead cockroach peeking out
We were thrown out of the marina because of prior
bookings for ARC participants so left for Tenerife. Had a lovely night sail,
with a few dolphins, lots of stars and the milky way and all the usual beautiful
sights (that we now take for granted).
So, back to drinking wine and so on. Still a few
jobs to finish on the boat, while waiting for the hurricane season to pass (not
that there were many) and the trade winds to settle
in.
