Bryce Canyon National Park

Not before 2 days of rest at Hurricane – we even went to the pictures to see Wonder Woman! Bryce is – no surprise – another red rock canyon, but here the rocks are weathered into a myriad of shapes called Hoodoos. Day 1 we cycled, walked, walked and then and did the full moon walk finishing at 22.30, so a late night for us! ![]() ![]() Day 2 we hiked the peek-a-boo trail, the best of all. You twist and turn, up anddown with another great view around every corner. ![]()
We cannot open our door to let the cool air in (temperatures have plummeted by 25F to a very cool 81F) due to a very persistent ground squirrel that waits on the concrete buffer and zooms into the RV at every opportunity. ![]()
After a pizza at Bryce Lodge we went to the prairie dog meadow, a pristine meadow for an endangered savannah species. We also spotted our first pronghorn deer. ![]() However, we have both been a bit ill and breathless at night as altitude made the air pressure 760mb.
