Elizabeth’s hand is on the cross section of a fallen Vesi tree, one of the local hardwoods used for building and lots else. Elizabeth pointed out the orange dove and Lydia welcomed us to her home to watch her start making some masi matting. Old xray acetates are cut by hand and used as stencils. Lydia has orders for wedding dresses to be made from the matting and we teased May as to when she would be needing one!
