The first day we travelled 20 miles to Endeavour Harbour, a quiet deserted bay, where we enjoyed a couple of relaxing nights at anchor with Sol Maria.

It was is lovely to be back at sea and also lovely to watch the sunset at anchor.

The wind finally settled down after a blowy night and so we departed once the sun was up for Shab El Erg, a horse shoe reef very popular with the dolphins.

We were not disappointed as the dolphins surrounded Blue Magic as she approached the reef, a spectacular sight. Unfortunately by the time we secured the boat we were too late to swim with them, however the nearby reef was very pretty and we had some good snorkelling instead.

Beautiful pink coral and bright blue clams

…and lots of varieties of fish

We set off again early afternoon for the anchorage at South Quisim where we planned to stay the night before departing for Port Suez.
