Round the Island

Position 38:46.817N 01:25.577E Wednesday 26th August Well after two years of ‘Round the Island’
racing with Stuart and the ‘Elliots’ team we couldn’t
disappoint so we have rounded a different Island this year – and we won ! Tonight we are staying in Formentera after our
circumnavigation of Rob has delivered us safely by taking the helm today, Julie,
Mark and Stuart have been the fishing team today and have completely failed in
their attempts, I have dozed all the way – catching up with my sleep
after our rolly night. It is very busy with boats anchored in the bay, we have
picked up a visitors buoy which is perfect. We are close to a small private island called Isla
Espalmador which is just 1 mile by ½ mile. The beach looks lovely so we are off to swim to the beach
for a stroll. Barbeque on board tonight before hitting Ibiza town for our
last night out ! |
