Bonjour !

It’s 11.00am and we are on our way to Belle Ile in thick fog with no wind,so we are motoring again.

It is very rolly with a distinct atlantic swell.

The sun is trying to break through and so we are hoping for an improvement as the morning goes on.

Our ETA is around 3pm so we will have time to go ashore and explore the island today which is just 1 mile by 5 miles in size.

Our idea is to leave tomorrow morning to do the 80 mile trip to Les Sables D’Olonne, home of the Vendee Globe yacht race.
