Phaselis

Evening time in Phaselis taking some shots of Blue Magic in our own private bay whilst watching the sunset.

It was so quiet and still that we got up early (well Mark did and I joined him later) to continue with polishing the hull for a few hours before it became too hot.

We finished around 10am and had banana pancakes for breakfast in the cockpit.

Then the invasion began ………

It is now mid day and I have counted 19 Gullets anchored in our bay with hundreds

of passengers swimming, screaming and splashing, Lunch bells ringing, loud speakers blaring, Captains whistling,

ribs darting between boats to ferry people ashore to the ruins and to top it all

the beach is also packed with tourists who have come by road !

People are in such close proximity to the boat, everywhere, we are hidden down below catching up with blogs and watching the antics which are highly amusing.

It is such a contrast to yesterday that we just keep looking at each other and laughing.

Oh there are two people in big orange life vests splashing towards us, they look like they might drowning – better go and check…….
