It was Pete’s birthday from Fai Tira on Tuesday so Excelsior tours arranged a rally get together at a local restaurant where they laid on a Sri Lankan curry buffet for us all.

We found the restaurant at 4.30 pm and so the owner had a busy couple of hours preparing for 30 to 40 of us to arrive back for the evening, he made some really excellent curries followed by fresh fruit and ice cream all for £5 per head - a good evening was had by all.

Blue Magic hosted nightcaps and we finally got to bed around 5.30am.

When we headed for bed I said to Mark that my new watch was not working properly as it was saying 5.30am, where did the time go !

Pete fell asleep as usual during the evening but to his peril this time as we had fun and games shaving his eyebrows off, oh what children we are.
