Provisioning

It has been very interesting trying to provision at all of the islands.

Today we have been in around eight different supermarkets searching for items on our shopping list. One shop may have some yoghurts, another a tin of tomatoes and another some cartons of milk and fruit juice.

We managed to buy some fresh produce from the local market and we got a tray of beers from the bakery as well as a couple of homemade scones !

The supermarket shelves are very scarcely stocked and one jar that I looked at was three years past the sell by date.

I could have bought along all that junk out of my cupboards at home and set up shop here !

Oh .. I forgot to say yesterday that  the reef where Roundabout went aground was called ‘Roundabout Reef’ !

We are leaving early in the morning to head for Bonaire.
