We said our goodbyes at Leros on 18th June and let the lines go ready to start the summer season exploring the Greek Island groups of the Cyclades and the Dodecanese.

Of course, boats being boats, a couple of new problems had cropped up to sort out on our way, so a stop at the boat yard in the North of Leros for them to look at a rigging adjustment and the air conditioning pump which has stopped working.

But enough of maintenance !

Next stop, our first new Island, was Lipsi, which is 7 miles north of Leros. A short trip with lively wind and sea, on the nose.

We moored stern to the Quay for maximum protection from the fresh wind.

Lipsi – well the pictures say it all – a typical little Greek Island, unspoilt and as if time has stood still, traditional and beautiful.

It is so nice to arrive somewhere new and explore.

Next stop Patmos and then Mykonos to meet Bev & Martin for their hols.
