We motored, again, for 2.5 hrs to Kekova Roads.

This is a stretch of water around 5 miles long protected by an Island on its seaward side, providing a calm area with lots of anchorages.

We entered via the Western channel between the Island and the main land.

We had planned to anchor in Woodhouse Bay but this proved to be quiet small and we didn’t want to take the dinghy down to tie a line ashore so we motored around the corner to Polemus Buku where we dropped our hook and swam in the bay.

A couple of entrepreneurial girls from a little village a few miles away came to visit us and showed us their handmade scarves, we bought one and had a laugh together haggling over the price.

Next day we motored through the calm waters passing the local village which looked a very pretty place to anchor and explore the Castle resting on the cliffs above.

Our next stop is Finnike….
