Well 48 hrs later and we have tied up in La Coruna in Northern Spain, 2-3hrs earlier than our estimation.

The second night was a bit easier and by lunchtime we were entering the marina.

We spent the afternoon washing the boat as it was covered in sticky salt from the waves.

The bilges were the next cleaning job to tackle as our long life milk had got wet and disintegrated, then the fridge as most of the beers had exploded from being knocked around in the swell.

After all that activity we had earned a gin and tonic in the local café……….

…….and now off to bed early for the first nights sleep in 48hrs – heaven !
