A sad farewell to Adam & Kirsty & Amalia & Riley in Bali, we had such a lovely time with them all.

The children are delightful and we will miss our days playing in the pool and listening to Amalia’s entertaining stories – she never stops talking.

I don’t know who she gets that from !

We headed out of Bali soon after our goodbyes (to give us a focus) and motored overnight to a small island called Pulau Giligenteng, close to Medura off the Java coast, where we anchored for the night.

We swam in the water and bought some delicious fish from a couple of young Indonesian lads who visited us in their little wooden fishing boat.

This morning we set off again and we are sailing along well in the Java sea between Java and Indonesian Borneo on route overnight to the next island of Bawean.

From there it is a few night and days passage to the Riau group of islands where we hope to spend a few days as there are lots of beautiful anchorages.

Our aim is to arrive in Batam by 18th November where we check out of Indonesia and then hop over to Singapore for some sightseeing.
