We have enjoyed a few days R&R in Musket Cove.

The boats are moored stern to on the walk way to a little island with a bar and barbeques are lit every night on the island so that you can cook your own food and use the tables, cutlery and plates. So no washing up – how civilised !

There is a lovely beach alongside us and a swimming pool just behind the beach, in the resort. There are some lovely walks up into the hills over the resort so we have been walking each morning before breakfast.

Bev – you would be proud of us !

Wednesday was Charlotte’s birthday, the day began with presents, skyping home and birthday cup cakes then onto the beach for activities…..

Kayak (or as Hollie calls them ‘a canoe for two’) racing with two people, the paddler is blindfold and the other person has to direct them.

Followed by cold beers after all that exertion !

In the evening we decorated the boat and all dressed as Hula girls, Katie & Hollie had bought decorations and costumes with them and we had lots more on board too.

All the boats made an effort to dress up and we all went over to barbeque on the island.

Charlotte was sang Happy Birthday in Five languages then given the bumps – a bit of a shock when you are 26 !

Later on we went skinny dipping, well us girls kept our bikinis on but Pete thought that grass skirts were best worn with nothing underneath !
