After a good night at Bloody Mary’s we decided to take ‘Blue Magic’ South to turquoise water and white sands.

The route looked a little tricky – very narrow and shallow between the coral heads but well marked so off we set !

As we motored the few hundred metres to the start of the route, we picked up a convoy…

Jackamy, Bionic, Peregrina, and Simanderal slipped in behind us to follow us through !

Unfortunately we had one casualty, Bionic hit the coral twice and decided to go back, they need 2.5 metres depth whereas

We only need 2.2 metres, so that extra few centimetres made all the difference.

Jackamy hit the coral briefly but, in their defence, they are already members of the reefers club !

The trip was much more exciting than we had anticipated but the anchorage was certainly worth the stress.
