Today’s amusement has been thinking of sailing related phrases……

We are ‘cooking on gas’ and have officially ‘dropped of the radar’

‘The tide has turned’ and we are ‘riding on the crest of a wave’ .

We are all on the same ‘wave length’ but we still can’t quite ‘fathom’ it out !

The ‘surf’s up’ and we are having a ‘swell’ time.

The lines are out but only one ‘fish out of water’, still there are ‘plenty more fish in the sea’  and if we fail with the ‘catch of the day’ we will have to ‘shell’ out on a nice fish supper and get ‘wrecked’, ‘for shore’.

We have our ‘sights set’ on ‘new horizons’ and we don’t want to end up in the wrong ‘plaice’, in the meantime we are having a ‘whale’ of a time here !!!!!
