Sunday 12th July

We got up early again on Sunday to polish the other side of the hull, so we are all sparkling now.

Then we messed about with our mooring lines in order to move over and make some room for Rowanda, who squeezed in between us and a motor boat.

It was great to catch up with Mandy and Bob and they were now joined by their son, Charlie( a playmate to keep Bob occupied).

Another trip to the beach in the afternoon for swimming and dinghy races, followed by an Indian meal ashore at Charlie’s Place – a great day!

Monday 13^th July

Yet another trip to Morrisons to stock up and a final visit to the chandlers for various essential equipment.

Mark fixed the leach line on the main sail and filled up the water, I cleaned and oiled the bike chains, which were looking a bit rusty already, and did a final wash.

We are now ‘ship shape’ and ready to leave tomorrow. A big fill up with diesel is scheduled for first thing and then we are going off to anchor at Soto Grande.

We are now counting down the days until the children and grandchildren visit us next Monday !
