Yesterday we had a lovely day visiting the seven wells and waterfalls, just 5 kms from the marina.

As you can see far left below – Mark made lots of new friends as usual !

The waterfall was quite spectacular and worth all 300 steps to get there.

Yes, that is Mark at the bottom of the falls – he is proving to be a very co operative model for my photographs, he even slid down part of the falls into a small pool at the bottom so that I could try out the video function on our new camera !

In the afternoon we hired a car (£12 for 24hrs) we think it was an old banger belonging to one of the marina staff as there were no forms to fill out and no driving license required.

Every time we locked or unlocked the doors the alarm went off !

However, it suited us just fine as we just wanted to go into town to refill our dive tanks and post our Christmas cards.

We are now topping up the diesel tanks and then we are heading 25 miles to the Butang Islands, which are part of Thailand, hoping for some clear water and diving and snorkelling.
