Noya
Hi Folks Well, an interesting bus trip to Noya which is a very
Spanish town. The market was a complete contrast to Most of the fish we
didn’t recognise ! We had a nice long lunch but we hadn’t a clue what we
were eating, although we did manage to order a bottle of Riocha in Spanish
which was very good. Here is a photo of one of the dishes, it is called Naraja –
any ideas what that is in English ? It is long thin shells with meaty shellfish in the middle,
very tasty. There is no mention of it in the phrase book ! The main street was very pretty and very old with chequered
paving that mad your eyes go funny ( or maybe that was the riocha) We are moving out of the marina tonight to anchor in the bay
so that we can get up and leave easily tomorrow and head for the next Ria. Ria de Arosa |
