The wind has dropped today and it is very hot !

I was having a morning doze when I was woken up to slapping water, I jumped up as our stern cabin window was open and I thought we were about to get flooded, only to find that it was Mark in the bath tub wallowing in fresh, cold sea water to cool off.

What a good idea – so I joined him !

We have been flown over again today by Australian customs, they have called us up nearly every day to check who we are, where we have come from and where we are going to. Not sure what they are monitoring as I can’t imagine anyone racing to get into this deserted part of Australia.

We are on course to arrive at Darwin on 1^st October where we then have to anchor and arrange for a diver to clean our bottom of black Mussels before we can go into the marina.

Despite Blue Water Rallies assuring us that we could all get into Tipperary Waters Marina it seems there is a problem with lack of berths (again) so we are hopeful that they can accommodate us as it would be very difficult to leave the boat at anchor whilst we go off exploring in our camper van.
