Monday 10th October 2011, Armorgos, Greece.

Lovely to have internet on the boat for a day from the nearby rooms ‘Elena’ – but we think the guests have all left now as the signal has been rudely cut off !

We spotted a lady taping up the aerial through the binoculars – argh !

So we are having breakfast ashore this morning and checking out the weather forecasts using the café wi fi.

It was very stormy last night with gusty winds, thunder and lightening and it is going to take a day or so for the low pressure to move away.

After much deliberation over conflicting weather forecasts, the decision is to hire a scooter today and go off exploring the island, leaving here tomorrow to sail just 30 miles to the next island of Levitha.

Levitha is a very small island inhabited by just one couple who fish around the island and run a tiny Taverna for visiting yachts, let’s hope they haven’t hibernated for winter !

From there it is a short hop of 20 miles to Leros and we aim to arrive there on 15th October when our mooring agreement commences.
