All the boats have left Kupang and we have a convoy all heading towards Bali !

Our plan is to anchor off a small island around 250 miles away so will sail/motor through the night to arrive tomorrow evening before dark. A further trip will take us a similar distance to anchor off another island and we then plan to arrive in Bali on 25^th October, giving Richard a few days to fly over to Bali and get the ball rolling to clear us into Indonesia through his agent there.

All good fun !

Despite the authorities, we had a lovely time in Kupang, the people were charming and we enjoyed riding in the local ‘Bimos’, hiring motor bikes, sampling the local food and wandering around the busy market.

The prices were refreshingly cheap after Australia and we felt very rich with a few million Rupiah’s in our pocket.

But most impressive of all …we can’t wait to try out the Mum, Dad, 2x children and granny combination all on one motorbike in rush hour traffic !
