Town Trip

We had an exciting trip to town last night to buy flowers and feathers for decorating my hat for the Royal Wedding celebrations at the Oasis Club tomorrow.

I also had a special treat of a new pair of sunglasses; I left my much loved Oakley’s in a marina shower block in Port Klang, Malaysia.

Barnacle Free

Today we ventured ashore early (7.00am) whilst it was still cool for another dinghy cleaning session. We hauled the dinghy up the slip way, turned it over and scraped the barnacles off the bottom. The hull was also water logged and desperately needed draining before we sank.

The slip way is very slippery and I managed to fall over and graze my arm and leg, so I am now well plastered !

Open wounds need to be disinfected and covered immediately as it is very easy to get an infection in tropical climates.

Must go and write the quiz questions for tonight’s quiz – they are a demanding bunch and need to be challenged !
