We have sailed from Rangiroa to Tikehau another atoll 35 miles away where we anchored off the village.

The island is beautiful and the people are so friendly.

We walked along the atoll and met lots of friendly locals, one entertained us with his ukalayle and another picked coconuts from his tree so that we could drink the milk and eat the coconut.

We walked for miles and when we ran out of land we swam to the next uninhabited island !

We took the road way back through the village, passing a local bar and the village shop.
