We were taken ashore in style on Jackamy’s brand new dinghy and we all got completely drenched !

There was no landing pontoon and so we beached the dinghy and pulled it out of the water quickly, as crocodiles have been reported here too !

Paul’s new GT model has landing wheels amongst all the other ‘extras’ !

Seisia is the very far tip of Northern Australia and it certainly seemed like the end of the world too !

It was very desolate with lots of 4WD’s parked up presumably reaching the end of their trail up the Cape York peninsula.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a well stocked supermarket which was a bit like an oasis in the desert as there were no other signs of any community.

There was however a campsite for trekers where we managed to get a delicious burger at the kiosk, which was manned by one young girl, so a lengthy wait.

Unfortunately no internet (I have lots of photos for the blog) and no telephone signal either.

A fantastic, peaceful nights sleep and at 7.30am we headed off for Port Essington, 615 miles away.
