We had a lovely evening in Camarinas last night, starting with gin & tonics on Bob & LIzs’ very pretty Rustler 36 and finishing with a good Spanish meal of Calamaris, pimentos and sea bass, washed down with a good Riocha, in the yacht club.

Bob & Liz are headed North and they recommended Ria de Muros as our next stop South, so we have changed plans to visit that Ria and stay at Portosin marina tomorrow, another day trip of around 50 miles.

The marina is close to an old town called Noia that is very pretty and supposed to be worth a visit – so we are going to try out the Spanish bus service for a trip there.

It is really nice meeting up with various British boats in each harbour that are either heading North for the summer in the UK or heading South towards the med, like us.

Everyone is keen to swop their experiences and old sea tales which is great.

Next instalment…at next destination.
