We have anchored in a small bay called Vlikadia, on the Island of Kalimnos last night.

It was very pretty and quiet with a small beach and a couple of restaurants, we did not go ashore but had a relaxing evening on board.

Next morning we dropped the anchor at 10am and motored gently to Laki bay in Leros.

There were a lot of fishing boats out between the islands so I put my line out again in anticipation – but no joy !

The fish are very sparse in this area.

We arrived at the marina around midday, they had not saved our berth as requested and the marina was noticeably fuller with yachts being lifted back into the water every day.

However there was one space on the other side of the same pontoon where we squeezed ourselves in, a bonus as the cockpit is now nice and sheltered from the prevailing breeze.

Now back to washing, cleaning and catching up with e-mails before our next trip back to the UK.
