Whilst eating dinner in the cockpit last night (wed) we were joined by a couple of whales about 100m away blowing out large trumpets of water, fantastic !

After dark we had a screening of ‘Blue Max’ on the TV, there was no ice cream lady but we had liquorice allsorts and chocolate éclairs – yum yum.

Another quiet night, the skies have clouded over this morning and there are forecasts of rain and strong winds, so we will be glad to pick up our anchorage just outside La Trinitee early afternoon today.

It was our turn to conduct the radio net this morning and all yachts are doing well and between 30 and 80 miles from destination.

There is some concern that the anchorage may be uncomfortable if the wind increases, we should be one of the first to arrive so we will report back to the others later.
