A good start, I just asked the guys what day it is and after a five minute heated discussion we have concluded that we don’t know !

We have had our best 24 hrs sailing so far, averaging around 7 to 8 knots. The seas are moderate to rough with a big swell of around 3 metres so we didn’t sleep very well and everyone is very quiet and catching up a bit today.

It takes all our effort to do simple but essential tasks like answer the roll call, fill in the log and make hot dogs and toast. Going to the toilet is a major achievement.

The guys are a bit delirious and the latest idea, since we are flying along, is to water ski off the back of the boat.

Sushi is off – no fish again !

I am working on a restricted menu as everything keeps flying across the galley, I have finally trapped the potatoes in the oven and turned it on – so that is a good start.

We had lots of black clouds and squalls last night but the skies have cleared to blue and the sun is shining.
