We left Estepona marina at 8.00am waved off by the Cleary’s from their balcony.

A lovely lazy day motoring 72 miles to a beautiful anchorage in La Herradura, just around the headland from Almunecar still in the Costa del Sol.

The anchorage is clear turquoise water with a backdrop of high rocks and unspoilt hillside that has a few impressive villas built into the rock, overlooking the sea.

We have just been swimming off the boat, the water is 32 degrees !
