Happy Birthday Dad !

We explored Patmos on our wheels, a hired 150cc scooter.

The cave of the Apocalypse, where John the divine wrote the book of revelations known as the Apocalypse, was worth a visit.

The Monastery was also beautiful and surrounded by many small dwellings whose architecture was tailored and fitted to blend into the natural form of the rock.

For lunch we found Lambi beach restaurant and sampled their speciality, Saganaki flambé, a type of Haloumi cheese fried and then flambed in a local alcohol.

The afternoon was spent swimming at a lovely sandy beach near Kambos, then into town for supplies ready to set off towards Mykanos early the next day.
