We completed our mission to arrive in harbour first, ready to follow instructions and moor according to the plan handed out at the last Captains meeting.

But all best made plans and all that …. There was very limited space in the harbour amongst fishing boats and gullets so we all squeezed in where we could with help from Graham and Gay from Yacht ‘Christina’ who were already in Tasucu waiting to join the rally !

Yacht ‘Glen L’ with David and Sue, they were rather concerned to see cockroaches scurrying around the gullets either side of them, lets hope they don’t jump ship !

‘Sol Maria’ also found a place between the gullets whilst ‘Tilikum’ and ‘Diamond Days’ rafted alongside and were quite surprised when local fishing boats squeezed in behind them on returning with their catch, you can see how close they are below !

‘Blue Magic’ moored next to ‘Jigsaw’ home to ‘Puzzle’, the cat, and her crew Ian and Melanie.

We all attended the captains meeting that night where we planned a couple of meals out and an excursion on Saturday, plus a briefing about checking out of Turkey on Monday ready for our next trip 135 miles to Paphos in Southern Cyprus.
