Friday

We went ashore at Bequia, officially checked into the Grenadines and then wandered around the town.

There were lots of shops but they were tucked away and looked as if they were inside peoples houses !

Most of the boutiques looked as if their stock was second hand and my hunt for a bikini revealed only one choice which, on closer inspection, had a ‘George’ Asda label and was priced at 50 US dollars !

The fresh provisioning was rather disappointing but we bought a few essentials and also sourced a wire lead and padlock for the dinghy.

Later, we had a fabulous dinner ashore, overlooking the anchorage with French food and live Blues music.

Saturday

Today we have had another good 4 hour sail and we are now moored in Tobago Quays, a horseshoe reef with wonderful turquoise water.

Mark is getting the dinghy ready and we are off snorkelling to see the fish and the turtles.
