We are here in Australia – yeah !

Arrival 1430 inside the breakwater where a smiling TONY greated us in a marina launch which came along side Fai Tira to tow her to a quarantine berth.

We followed close behind and moored up ready for clearance, followed by Angel & Bionic.

Quarantine clearance took around ¾ hr, we had to show them all our food storage, fridge and freezer and any arts and crafts bought whilst we have been away.

I had thrown out most of the disallowed things such as all fresh fruit and vegetables and all frozen and fresh meat, they also took our mayonnaise which contained more than 5% egg product. They also checked out all our lockers and on deck to see if we were carrying any nasty creatures into the country.

We are now officially allowed ashore and we are tied up in our marina berth and have ten minutes to get ready – we are off for a thai meal with our ‘convoy’, Miss Tippy and Tony from Rally control.

We are sooo relieved to be here !
