Despite our best laid plans to go to Spain our next stop was in the Marina of Santo Antonio on the Potugese side of the river !

We had a call from Bob & Mandy to say that they had been to the Spanish Marina and that they were kept awake all night from the noisy disco !

Bob came out in his dinghy to meet us and guide us into Santo Antonio where he had booked a restaurant for all of us and the crew of a Swedish, yacht who they had met during Rally Portugal.

The town was charming and we had a lovely evening with Bob & Mandy and the Swedish family, Karl and Camilla and their two daughters, who were delightful.

  We left the marina this morning 30^th June at 7.30am to catch the high tide into El Rompido.

This is the bridge that links Portugal to Spain across the river Guadiana.
