Well, we have been in Povoa for a couple of weeks now and we are getting a bit stir crazy !

It has been great here, we have enjoyed friends coming out to see us, we have explored Porto via metro and we have made the most of the local beaches and restaurants.

We are now ready to go sailing again !

Tomorrow will be cleaning and laundry followed by provisioning on Monday and then early Tuesday we head for Figueira da Foz, 70 miles further along the coast of Portugal. We will stay overnight and possibly the next day before moving on to Cascais a further 100 mile trip.

Cascais is a good base for a visit inland to Lisbon.

Our next trip will take us to Sines before heading around the corner into the Algarve, where our first port of call will be Lagos.

From here we will be truly into tourist/holiday area and hopefully warmer climates.
