Another day of motoring without wind.

We arrived in Kalkan around 1500 and motored into the small town basin to have a look.

As you can see it is a very pretty town.

However we weren’t ready for civilisation quite yet so we took the other option and anchored in Yesilkoey Limani, a quiet bay around 2 miles from the harbour.

Another beautiful bay with warm water and a stunning backdrop of sheer cliffs all around us.

It seems our timing is perfect as another stream of Gullets arrived in the anchorage the next morning as we were preparing to leave.

The gullets are quite impressive wooden boats with nice big tables on their shady stern deck for sociable meals with friends and family.

Maybe when we are no longer sailing our own yacht it would be a perfect holiday !

Onwards 18 Miles to Kas….
