Rigging fixed, passports stamped, Cruising Log initiated, SIM card purchased and holding tanks pumped.

Mission accomplished in 48 hours and we leave Marmaris Yacht Marina for a trip of 39 miles to the rugged coastline of Gocek and Fethiye.

This area is unspoilt, rugged and beautiful.

The anchorages here have some great names such as Deep Bay, Tomb Bay, Wall Bay, we anchored in Rugged Bay, alongside our own private Island !

Flying the Turkish courtesy flag and highlighting our newly corrected rigging- yay !

The next photo had to be printed, showing the Island reflected in the highly polished hull, Marks mission over the previous few weeks.

In the morning a local lad popped by with fresh bread for sale, how wonderful and it bought back memories of the boat boys in the Caribean.

Unfortunately our bliss was soon to be disturbed, by 9.30am a convoy of Turkish Gullets invaded the anchorage and we realised that we had been lucky to arrive the day before after they had all departed.

Time to leave and head 30 Miles along the coast to Kalkan.
