The airport in Mykanos is just a ten minute drive from the
marina and there are good supermarkets plus a butcher, baker and great fruit
shop set back from the road along the way.
We met Bev and Martin at 1.30pm and headed back to the boat
for lunch followed by a chill out at the little beach just on from the marina.

That evening we went into Mykanos town which was busy and
bustling as there were several Cruise ships in the bay. We ate dinner in
Katerina’s, a charming restaurant with a little balcony overlooking the
sea in the area known as ‘Little Venice’.
The sea was so rough that waves were hitting the rocks below
and spraying up over the balcony.
The weather forecast for the whole week is high winds !
We decided to wait until Friday, when the forecast was slightly
better, to leave the marina and so we made use of the hire car for another day and
took a tour of the Island. Lunch was spent in
a lively beach bar in Ormas bay, people watching and afternoon drinks at the
even livelier Super Paradise Beach Club watching beautiful babes dancing to
loud music.
Martin & Mark were impressed !
