Well, a week of hard work in the Marina at Marmaris, Turkey getting Blue Magic ship shape again.

The dinghy has had a makeover and looks fantastic with it’s new cover.

Replacement halyard wheels are now fitted thanks to the riggers, who had to remove both forestays to get access, and of course they needed to use Marks big tool for the job too !

We have cleaned the sails and put them back on and also cleaned and refitted everything removed prior to shipment.

Although not cheap, there are plenty of chandlers and even a West Marine to cater for all our needs here so that has been quite a luxury.

Today we set sail for Rhodes, a short 50 mile hop, to anchor in Lindos Bay and meet Gemma & Dan for dinner as they are currently on holiday there.

The following day we are headed for Crete which is a further 140 miles so an overnight sail to the marina in time to meet Sheena & Emily who are staying with us on Blue Magic for the week.

We are also looking forward to seeing our sailing buddies on Jackamy and Sol Maria when we arrive in Crete.

Sailing, we are sailing….the last time we were sailing in Blue Magic we were approaching the entrance to Salalah, Oman on 24th February.

This is the beginning of new adventures….
