12th June 0800

 ‘Blue Magic’ is in the water – last boat unloaded – operation ‘Evacuation Salalah’ completed.

 

   

 

And then there was one …

There was a nerve wracking moment when the strops were around Blue Magic and the crane’s motor stuttered and died. One of the hydraulic hoses had burst !

20 minutes later and it was all fixed and our boat was lifted safely into Turkish waters.
