It is 1100 Friday morning and we are anchored in Mumbai opposite the huge monument that is the Gateway to India and resembles marble arch and the Taj Mahal hotel which looks like a cross between the houses of parliament and St Pauls cathedral !

As you can see there is a mist/smog surrounding the entire shoreline.

We are now waiting for the agent to arrive so that we can be checked in hopefully today so that we are allowed ashore later.

It is great to see all the other rally yachts in the anchorage and we received a warm greeting from Steve on Aspen & Jacques from Jacobelle

Larooba and Saildance are due to to arrive later today.

Meanwhile, a couple of yachts are still being repaired in Sri Lanka, Moonbeam has now left the rally as they are waiting for parts there and unable to catch us up and Nautibuoy 2 is also doubtful to catch up now too. Spirit of Nina and Tallismano have decided to take a different route than that recommended by Blue Water Rally so they are temporarily excluded.
