Happy New Year to everyone !
We are still in Patong
Bay where Katie and
Charlie left us to head home on 30th December after a lovely
Christmas on Blue Magic.
It made our Christmas time very special to share it with
Katie & Charlie and we are now missing them !
So..we have kept ourselves very busy the last couple of days
provisioning, refuelling, passage planning and having a couple of massages !
Our new year was quite spectacular, after eating dinner
together with friends from other rally yachts we headed for the beach along
with thousands of others.
The whole beach front was alive with throngs of people, throbbing
music and loud fireworks and the sky was filled with thousands of floating,
lighted lanterns that had been released from the beach.
We released one too and made a little wish to be carried
away to the stars !

Today we are leaving for a seven day passage to Sri Lanka where we are catching up with Mum
& Dad for a few days in Galle
– so we are very excited about seeing them.

Sadly time to leave beautiful Thailand
but we are looking forward to some sailing, some home cooking and we are excited
about meeting Mum & Dad in Sri
Lanka.
