Townsville

 

    

 

Townsville had a lovely promenade along the waterfront and beach

 from the marina to a huge salt water swimming pool  at the other end.

 

All along the walk were public barbeques and picnic benches

and a fantastic water park playground for the children.

 

Early in the mornings and late afternoon the walk was busy with people

walking, jogging and rollerblading.  

 

We relaxed on the grass in the afternoon, dozing and reading and

Taking in the views across the water to Magnetic Island.
