We arrived at the entrance to Savu Savu in Fiji early evening and dropped our anchor just outside of the Cousteau resort.

In the morning we picked up a buoy while Health, Customs and Quarantine Officials came to the boat to clear us into

Savu Savu. We then moved to the ‘Copra Shed’ and moored stern to, just in front of the yacht Club – perfect !

We also had the luxury of water and power so we scrubbed the decks and gave the boat a good clean.

The yacht Club hosted a sailing afternoon with their optimist and laser dinghies and we raced against the local

Youth sailing club who beat us hands down ! There followed a live band and cocktail party, a great evening.
