The view from our cabin

An afternoon welcome party on the quayside with a local band, coconut tasting and canoe rides.

I am sat just in front of the skipper at the back.

 

    

 

The canoes are very traditional in Tahiti and can be found all along the coastline, we

felt very small in the harbour next to the cruise ships and ferries

 

 

 

After all the fun followed our briefing for the next few weeks exploring the Isles de la Societe (Society Islands)
