San Blas

We bought ‘Molas’ from the ladies and fresh lobster from the men in their

dug out canoes.

The Kuna Indians living on one of the San Blas Islands that we visited

Bath time and the interior of one of the larger huts, the wardrobes consist of washing lines strung across

the ceiling with the clothes hung over. Bed is a hammock.

Lots of generations chilling in the garden, baby is just 20 weeks old.

Every hut has it’s own toilet hut built over the sea and of course a private boat dock.

Dinner is cooked over an open fire inside the hut and this family were having a dinner party for 12 that night.

    The village congresso hut where

The Indians meet each night to resolve any differences and have discussions.

Derry was a big hit with the children as she took some toys, hair slides and balloons to give out.
