Happy New Year to everyone !

We spent last night in Nelson’s Dockyard, English Harbour, Antigua.

The night began with heavy rain but that didn’t dampen our spirits and we had a good evening with champagne on board followed by eating at ‘East meets West’, listening to the reggae band on the grass and watching the fireworks in the harbour.

It has been so good to have friends and family to share Christmas and New Year.

They are all leaving over the next couple of days and it will be difficult to say goodbye !

We now have four weeks with just the two of us, cruising South through the Caribbean Islands of Guadeloupe, Les Saintes, Dominica, Martinique, St Lucia and the Grenadines heading towards Panama for early February.

The plan is to leave tomorrow or the next day depending on how long it takes to clear out of Antigua with customs and marina officials !
