We netted our first Dorado this morning, not very big but I have cooked fresh bread in celebration ready to eat with the fish for lunch.

The Dorado was a rainbow of colours as it came out of the water.

It is Eddies 8th Birthday today on ‘Roundabout’ so we have sung Happy Birthday on the radio and Adam made pancakes for breakfast after hearing that Eddie was having them for his birthday breakfast.

The ships clock went back two hours today which has caused much confusion with the watch system. I have had to do even more manual cutting and pasting to my excel spreadsheet – but all good now !

The wind has picked up and we are twistling along at 6 knots, long may it continue.

Most of the fleet are now gathered within 150 miles of the 20/30 area and setting course for Antigua, we are 120 miles North of that Mark and already on course.

It is good to be sailing along at a reasonable speed at last !

Happy Birthday to Charlie Warlie too !
